After 10 days in Carmel with my whole family under one roof its time to get back to reality and get this new year started off on the right foot. Each day of the trip was planned around food and family....I'm sure it is what my heaven will look like. Among the meals shared we made pizzas from scratch, experimented with dry-aging our Christmas prime rib, turned our holiday panettone bread  into french toast,  hosted a evening of wine, cheese and dessert, and shared a stone crab feast. I'll post some detailed recipes on specifics but here is a look at the fun....
