Mouths Go Willingly Where Eyes Fear to Tread

It is a rare occasion when a website actually makes me laugh out loud. There has to be a sort of certain risky cleverness to the layout and wording that is unexpected and honest to create this type of humor and reader reaction... Chocolate Gourmet is a prime example of the type of website I am attempting to describe.

They make "damn good cookies" and "ugly truffles". The cookies have names such as Chubby Wubby Caramel, Cute as Button Dots, Controlling Coconut, and Overprotective Pecan. The truffles come in flavors like Hairy Coconut, Messed Up Mocha, You Suck Lemon, and Put your Clothes on Chocolate.

My two favorite truffles are the Campy (gooey homemade marshmallow center surrounded by chocolate and rolled in smoke-infused toasted graham cracker crumbs) and the Morning After Merlot (merlot ganache surrounded by bittersweet chocolate and rolled in red velvet cake crumbs).

The cookies and truffles start at $1.25 each and come in a variety of flavor assortments.
