J'Adore
Here is what I'm loving this week:
There is a new iPhone app that is totally BLOWING MY MIND. It's called Postmates and it's basically like Uber for food and any other services or items you need delivered to you via courier. I gave it a try for the first time this week. I ordered a Nozawa Sushi dinner from Sugarfish using the app. There was a $10 delivery fee and it was at my door in 45 minutes looking perfect.
And I have to hand it to Sugarfish for having a really well done to-go system for their sushi which for those of you that have not experienced it, is a little complicated in that each fish has a special sauce (yuzu ponzu, ponzu, soy, chili ponzu, etc) or finishing component (like a squeeze of lemon) that must be added to the correct item. To make this easy on their customers they created a little card that guides you through the dinner at home just like you would experience it in the restaurant.
My next obsession is this 100% non-toxic and biodegradable kitchen cleaning spray ($7.50 for 16oz) developed by Weller Tribe (a company recently founded by my super talented sister). This handmade blend eliminates surface and airborne contaminates including viruses and bacterium by utilizing the powers of lemon (a natural antiseptic and antiviral, is antifungal, and a natural astringent), wild orange (a natural antiseptic), Clove (is antibacterial, antifungal, anti-infectious, anti-inflammatory, a strong antiseptic and disinfectant). This stuff smells AMAZING. Can't say enough good things about it!
Rifle Paper Co. just launched a wall paper line and it's TO DIE FOR. I mean, have you ever seen wallpaper this stunning? The Ebony Pineapple print is calling my name!
And finally, I did a super fun breakfast shoot with food photographer Christina Peters and I will be sharing them on the blog tomorrow! Stay tuned!
