Day 1

Back on orientation day I listened attentively and made sure to take copious notes. I even brought my boyfriend along so that if I were to miss anything he would hear it and between the two of us we would leave there with all the of the information I could possibly need for the first day of school. 

They mentioned that we would be receiving our uniforms on day one and that we should be sure to arrive an hour earlier than the normal start time. noted.  

Flash forward to today. 

I arrived at Le Cordon Bleu in black leggings, leather studded ballet flats, a black tunic top, and a grey button-up sweater. Hair was pulled back. No jewelry on. Nails free of polish and trimmed. Ready-to-go!

After being seated, we receive our uniforms. We are told to go put on our uniforms. I discover I have missed something. Everyone in the class has a white undershirt and black socks with them...except me. Lovely. Under my black tunic I am wearing a black bra. Seemed like a good idea this morning... but not now. I didn't have a choice. I had to put on the uniform. I was the girl wearing the white chef jacket with the black bra underneath it.
