I Love Trader Joe's Cookbook

I love Trader Joe's (especially that sun-dried tomato pesto torte they make)...don't you?

Cherie Mercer Twohy loved Trader Joe's SO much that she wrote the I love Trader Joe's Cookbook ($17.95, Urban Outfitters). The book contains over 150 recipes all created with items found specifically in Trader Joe's. The recipes range from hors d'oeuvres to desserts and are sure to be crowd pleasers.

I like the idea of this cookbook because there are so many times that I want to go to Trader Joe's but I know in the back of my mind that they don't have certain things like Heinz Ketchup or A-1 Sauce or any other major brand name condiments and so I dread having to stop at two different grocery stores to get things for one dinner. Really though...who am I kidding? I love grocery stores. I would go to 8 grocery stores for one dinner if I had the time.

To all you normal people out there...this book is the key to one-stop shopping for some awesome recipes like Champagne-Saffron Risotto, Sassy Peach Sweet Potatoes, Hazelnut Plum Baby Cakes, and Sweet Glazed Salmon with Corn Salsa.
