GOLD flatware

This Colombina flatware was designed by Italian architects, Doriana and Massimiliano Fuksas, in 2007. The set is gold-colored and made by Alessi of 18/10 stainless steel with a durable tarnish-resistant polished finish (hand-wash only).

You can find it on the MoMA Store website for $60 a set (includes 5 pieces) and although I wouldn't consider it a thrifty-have-to-have-it-because-its-such-a-steal type of purchase it would definitely make for a conversation starter at your next dinner party...
