Vera Wang Dishes
This "Ikat" dinnerware by Vera Wang for Wedgwood is the definition of casual chic; yet another way to define your sense of culinary fashion. The collection includes a dinner plate, salad plate, cereal bowl, mug, teacup, tea saucer, 10" serving bowl, 15" oval platter, open sugar, and creamer. Prices range from $16 - $199 and the pattern features a white base color with blotches of lavender, citron, and indigo blue.
Wang designed the collection to be "elegant, timeless, and luxurious" which is exactly what these serving pieces are. I love the modern edge and simplicity of them as well. The pieces are constructed of bone china which is a type of porcelain that is composed of bone ash, feldspar and kaolin. (It was developed by English potter Josiah Spode in 1797 and it is known for its hardness, high level of whiteness and translucency).
Thank you Vera for bringing fashion into the kitchen!
